Under normal operating conditions, a three-phase induction motor has a service life of 10 to 15 years. With proper maintenance, this lifespan can be extended to over 20 years, far exceeding the industry average. The motor’s service life primarily depends on insulation performance, bearing quality, and daily maintenance. Daily maintenance procedures are simple and easy to perform, as outlined below:

1、Regular cleaning: Clean dust and oil residue from the motor surface monthly. Keep ventilation openings clear to pzrevent dust buildup from blocking heat dissipation channels, which can cause the motor to overheat. This is especially important in dusty or humid environments.
2. Bearing Maintenance: Bearings are the core components of the motor. Apply high-temperature grease every 6–12 months of operation, and replace the bearings every 3–5 years. Listen for bearing noise during operation; if unusual sounds or vibrations occur, inspect and replace them promptly. Our motors use a combination of domestic and imported NSK and SKF bearings, which are wear-resistant, quiet, and have a long service life.
3. Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check the temperature of the motor windings and housing to ensure they do not exceed the maximum temperature allowed by the insulation class. If temperatures rise abnormally, check for overload, verify that the voltage is normal, and ensure proper heat dissipation.
4. Wiring Inspection: Periodically check that the terminal connections are secure, with no looseness or oxidation, to prevent poor contact from causing overheating and burning out the terminals.
5. Moisture Protection: For motors left idle for extended periods, periodically power them on and run them for a short time to prevent the windings from becoming damp. In humid environments, install a moisture-proof heater.
We provide a detailed maintenance manual in both Chinese and English with each shipment to guide customers in daily operations. We also offer lifetime technical support; customers can consult us at any time regarding maintenance issues, and we provide solutions free of charge. Additionally, the motor features a maintenance-free design, reducing the workload of daily maintenance. It is suitable for long-term continuous operation in industrial settings, thereby lowering customers’ maintenance costs and minimizing the risk of downtime.
